SEAQIL Continues Strengthening Its Network to Support Merdeka Belajar and Kampus Merdeka
The signing of Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) between SEAQIL and Faculty of Language and Literature Education, University of Education of Indonesia (FPBS UPI) on Monday [8/1] is a support given for the Merdeka Belajar and Kampus Merdeka policy (MBKM).
The collaboration between SEAQIL and FPBS UPI can be said as one of SEAQIL’s efforts to build cooperation network following the signing of MoU and MoA with four universities in Indonesia on January. The Dean of FPBS UPI, Prof. Dr. Tri Indri Hardini, M.Pd. said that the cooperation with SEAQIL is an important step of the implementation of Tridarma Perguruan Tinggi (education, research and community services) and the development of other programmes related to improving the quality of education, professional skills, self-development, leadership, and language-literature-arts-culture education. The Dean also expressed her grateful since Klub Literasi Sekolah (KLS) programme initiated by SEAQIL has opened opportunities for FPBS UPI students to do internships for their self-development.
SEAQIL Director, Dr. Luh Anik Mayani responded, SEAQIL and FPBS UPI both could develop programmes and activities by utilising the potential and capabilities of their resources. In addition, this collaboration also gives opportunities for FPBS UPI students to do internship in KLS programme. As explained by Dr. Luh Anik Mayani, KLS is a SEAQIL programme that synergizes several aims that are to improve literacy culture, to support MBKM policies, to improve 4C of 21st Century Skills (Critical thinking, Creativity, Collaboration and Communication), to improve foreign language skills, and to build cooperation networks.
The signing of the MoA between SEAQIL and FPBS UPI was carried out by SEAQIL Director, Dr. Luh Anik Mayani, M.Hum. and the Dean of FPBS UPI, Prof. Dr. Tri Indri Hardini, M.Pd. and witnessed by heads of departments or study programmes, departments secretary and heads of sections of FPBS UPI. While from SEAQIL, also witnessed the signing were Deputy Director for Programme, Deputy Director for Administration as well as the Heads of Division and staff.
