Commencing in January 2011, SEAMEO Regional Centre for Quality Improvement of Teachers and Education Personnel (QITEP) in Language welcomed its new director, Dr Felicia Nuradi Utorodewo. Ibu Felicia, usually called as Ibu Cis, was born in New York on  22 December 1953. Since 1978, she has been working as a lecturer in Faculty of Humanities, University of Indonesia. She graduated as a Sarjana Sastra (Bachelor of Arts) majoring in linguistics in 1981 and received her master’s degree on linguistics antropology on 1990. In 2007, she earned her doctoral degree on Lexical Semantics from Faculty of Humanities, University of Indonesia. Between her busy schedules, she stiIl spares her time to give language training in mass media, publishers, and several ministries, one of which is State Secretary of Republic of Indonesia. She is the team member of development of assesment instruments of Indonesian language textbooks for Elementary School and develompent team of higher education standard process in Board of National Education Standard.  Likewise she is a resource person for the Ministry of National Education, National Language Centre, National Education Assesment Centre, National Book Centre and Board of National Research and Development. In February 2010, she was appointed as the Governing Board Member for SEAMEO RELC in Singapore and in December 2010 she became the assessor for the National Accreditation Agency for Higher Education.
