On 19 October 2011, SEAMEO QITEP in Language (Centre) received a visit from the delegates of Rajabhat Universities, Thailand who consisted of 33 chancellors and 74 superiors. This activity is part of their series of visit activities which aim to prepare for the realisation of the ASEAN Community in 2015 and to connect as well as network the academic and research cooperation with educational institutions in the Southeast Asian region.

At the Centre, the delegates led by Associate Professor Dr Preang Kitratporn were welcomed by the Centre Director, Dr Felicia N Utorodewo and the management team. During the visit, the representatives of Rajabhat University and the Centre management had a chance to learn more about each of the institutions including its activities and programmes. The visit created an opportunity for the two institutions to develop further cooperation.
